Vintage Fashion Book Find

After seeing the Marie Antoinette post the other day, Jane, our very first employee and quality control extraordinaire, brought me this gorgeous book! It's a very old book (date unknown) filled with loose pages of hand drawn and painted fashions from mostly the 1800's! Calligraphy Inspires

I was going through my new Martha Stewart magazine and came across this gorgeous article about calligraphy. It was so visually inspiring, and it reminded me of an older article I had up on my inspiration board. Eat Chow

We were all thrilled when we saw that a new cool restaurant opened up, within walking distance of the studio. Vintage Hardware Inspires

There is a the coolest hardware store, New York Hardware, nestled just next to Normandy Metal Refinishers. I took a little trip there and was amazed by the amount of inspiration that can come from vintage hardware! Who knew! Vintage Treasures

There is the most amazing shop called Normandy, located just around the corner from our studio, and I JUST visited it for the first time the other day. They specialize in antiques, and metal refinishing and the place is jam packed with inspirational delights.  For example this spinning chest of tiny drawers above.
