Collage Love

When I first saw Alexis Mackenzie's work over on fecal face, I was instantly smitten. The photos of her studio are so inspiring and fabulous! Alexis's work is created from images she cuts out of old books she collects from estate sales, and flea markets. Brilliant Book of Inspirational Ephemera

I came across this post the other day on the brilliant Eric Kass's blog and I was instantly grateful. Wedding Day Art

I have always had a love for collage. Inspiration Books

I admit it...I am a magazine addict! And much to my husband's dissapointment I just cannot bring myself to throw any away! So these "inspiration books" are my solution. I go through my old magazines (usually a combo of Domino, InStyle, Lucky, Martha Stewart, among others) and tear out the pages I like best. I then paste them into blank sketchbooks and ta dah!!
