Paris by the Beach Wedding Shoot

0comments

When the images from a recent shoot we collaborated on, showed up in our inbox we were beyond in love. I mean the details on this shoot are unreal! From the custom made structures, to the gorgeous chandeliers, and don’t get me started on that veil!! We had so much fun creating the invitations for this shoot, taking inspirations from french chateau meets glamour by the beach. So beyond fun with wax seal details and hand dyed silk ribbons, our favorites!! Not to mention the custom mini cakes with calligraphed flags to double as place cards!! yes and yes! Check out all the details over on Love Luxe Life, and the full list of dream team vendors below.

Holiday Style, Hostess Looks

So I am really embracing the loungewear chic look. It just seems like a win win to me. You get to wear your pajamas and no one thinks twice, and you get to look chic while being super comfortable. With all the eating and indulging that goes on over the holidays, this just seems like a must. And whether you are hosting or a guest, being comfortable while looking fabulous just seems like a no brainer. When you can make this happen for a steal, that’s even better right? These ASOS  silk pajama pants are only $16!! Complete the look with a body suit or fitted black top like this one from J-Crew, and black loafers of course! These are only $31. And some fabulous jewelry and a cocktail ring and you have the complete look. Your welcome.

Holiday Style Tabletop Edition

I cannot believe as I write this Thanksgiving is only a week away. We are hosting again this year and I am absolutely NOT prepared. Like at all. I suppose I should order my turkey right? Well in light of this I thought I would share some super easy tips to get your Thanksgiving, or holiday tables styled out. Things that you don’t need to spend hours doing, because let’s be honest, who has that kind of time, especially during this time of year. For example I am loving the idea of creating edible place cards. Whether its something like these mini baguettes, or a tiny rosemary plant, miniature pumpkins, or even a sprig of a fresh herb from your garden tucked into the napkin. Simple touches like these can really elevate your tabletop for not only Thanksgiving but Christmas or Hannuka as well. Incorporating a key serving piece like this brass inlay marble tray from Anthropologie can really make your cheese plate or snack platter shine. I love the idea of collecting simple fresh ingredients from your local farmers market and displaying them simply but beautifully like this vegan platter.

I am working on a custom invitation project right now that has me over the moon excited. From the color palette of aquas and mint greens with a touch of shimmer, to the elegance of classic vintage design, this is one of my favorites. Cannot wait to share the final product.

When I first came across Flowers by Bornay‘s work I was completely blown away. Their use of materials, unusual flowers and fabrics creates not only a gorgeous floral masterpiece, but it seems each piece evokes a mood. These are flowers like you have never seen before…

I love the use of cactus in the top bouquet…I mean seriously, have you ever!? Pure brilliance.

The use of colors and the tiny lace details are so fabulous.

How amazing are these succulents!?

These are some of their most unique work I think. They appear almost graphic don’t you think!? Wow! Flowers by Bornay, true artists.
