Mom Monday {food to love}

I am so proud to share with you some images captured at my latest Food to Love workshop. For those of you that are new here, Food to love is an afternoon I host for parents or anyone really, that is interested in learning about eating healthy foods. We talk about tips on getting your kids (or husbands) to eat their veggies, and above all, we learn the importance of eating whole real foods.

One of the most amazing things that happened since my first workshop has been the opportunity to work with Robyn O’Brien. We are helping her design some of her collateral. She surprised our guests with a special video message, and it was so amazing. Robyn is such an inspiration to me, and to the food revolution that it was truly an honor.

Guests snacked on homemade goodies like kale chips, garbanzo quinoa avocado salad, and the wildly popular date balls. Whole Foods so graciously donated all the groceries!! I did a food demonstration, this time I shared my green smoothies. The group of women that attended the workshop were so amazing. Everyone was so open to learning, and open to sharing their own struggles and solutions. After I mentioned the laborious task of prepping kale for kale chips, one of our guests, Shelly, demonstrated her quick and easy method of prepping the kale! We laughed, we shared stories, we watched a few fabulous videos, and it truly was an inspirational afternoon. I just love that quite a few of the ladies started making soaked oats the next day!!

Here is a little peek inside our fabulous goodie bags! First off the amazing gorgeous custom totes are compliments of On To Baby. Inside the tote were amazing goodies from Little Green Pouch, Innobaby, Hypnobabies, Honest Co., Vigilante Eats, Whole Foods, Wiley Valentine & Robyn O’Brien. Thank you so much to our amazing sponsors. I cannot wait for the next workshop. The enormous enthusiasm everyone left with immediately had me thinking of the next workshop. Most probably late summer early fall. Please email me if you are interested, to be first in line! Happy eating my friends! xoxo
