This was a very emotional weekend as we traveled to Indiana for my Grandmother’s memorial, Norma Jean Valentine. It had been so many years since I had visited Indiana and the farm I had spent summers visiting with my beloved grandmother. It was such an amazing feeling bringing my little miss Piper to these very spots, showing her where her grandmother and great grandmother lived, and visiting with family I hadn’t seen in ages. Though there were many painful moments, there were also fun times, and joyful reminiscing.
It’s times like these that remind you how important family is and it’s the little things that bring happiness. I love you my sweet Grandma. .
