Oh how dreamy this spot looks, in Dunton Hot Springs. I stumbled upon the most perfect adventure documented by Captain and the Gypsy King and my Wish I Was post was born. Sipping an adaptogenic hot cocoa wearing some killer clothes would really complete the experience dont you think?
Today I find myself daydreaming about exploring chateaus in Tuscany. Sipping on a full body beautifully rich cabernet from an oversize, Olivia Pope style glass. Wearing the most fabulous outfit and overlooking the vineyards. Who’s with me? Sigh…
My first Wish I Was post of the year takes us to the most magical Greek spots. I mean this cave is just amazing! Wearing the prettiest beachy items all under $100 by the way! Yes and Yes! Loving this floral bikini from Show Me Your Mumu, on sale right now for $86, and these rose gold aviators are only $29!! And a cold pressed juice gin cocktail!? So delicious.
Dreaming of a magical afternoon in Lake Como, enjoying an Affogoto, my absolute favorite dessert, espresso and ice cream. Yes please. I am loving these blush tones from this gorgeous top from Free People, to these $300 blush sunglasses you can snag for $49 at Nordstrom Rack right now!!
Lately I will look for any excuse to wear a kaftan. You could say I have gone kaftan crazy. This gorgeous one from Harrods is out of a dream. As is this destination, an organic farm in the Carribean? Yes Please. Belle Mont Farm’s vision is creating a new destination unlike any existing ‘sustainable hotel’ that would bring people together to form a community that benefits both locals and visitors alike. I mean come on! Get me there stat! And obviously having your cocktail in a popsicle form during a nice hot day is perfection.
If you have been following our insta accounts here and here last week you know we were enjoying a week in Tulum. A little back story to why Tulum is so special to me. The hubs and I visited the Riviera Maya area almost 12 years ago and ended up getting married there shortly after. We honeymooned in Tulum and even returned for a Wiley Valentine creative retreat 9 years ago. Since then, the area has changed so much. Where the restaurants used to be just palapas on the sand now stand chic fabulous hotels and restaurants. They still have the rustic fabulous Mexico charm, but the style factor has definitely gone up a ton.
Not to be missed are the fabulous shops along the main drag in Tulum. My personal favorite was Caravana, filled with fabulous basics and handmade cotton gorgeous pieces. Lunch at Posada Margherita was definitely a stand out. You look out over the ocean, and your meal begins with the prettiest plate of housemade breads and a jar of the most delicious cauliflower. They make all their pastas in house and they use the freshest veggies. The cold pressed juices are not to be missed, and the best part, your kids will love all of this too! You can even do a little shopping just steps from your seat. Win win!
We had the most divine dinner at Hartwood, a restaurant that you will definitely hear about when you start looking into Tulum. And for good reason. The menu changes daily and is presented to you on a huge chalkboard. The ceviche we had was by far the most beautiful I have ever seen, topped with gorgeous seasonal fruits and flowers! So amazing! Breastfeeding with a view was a favorite memory of the trip for sure. Also don’t miss the gorgeous hand embroidered textiles and adorable kids dresses!
A favorite spot we discovered was Raw Love. They take such care to make their coconut yogurt each morning and pack their smoothie bowls with tons of superfood goodies! A great break from some of the heavier Mexican delights you may indulge in. Feel free to enjoy a matcha latte from the comfort of a hammock and don’t forget to walk several steps to the beach as it is absolutely breathtaking here.
These Tribord snorkel masks were serious game changers. With Piper never trying snorkeling before, and a few people in our group that can get a bit of anxiety from the typical snorkel breathing, these were amazing. Piper absolutely loved snorkeling as did everyone else. You can literally just breath normally while snorkeling and the mask never fogs up! Brilliant! Hartwood has a cookbook which is the perfect way to take a bit of Tulum home with you. This kaftan has a similar vibe to the Caravana one I snagged in town. This is the bikini Piper rocked much of the trip, and this dress is the same look as the ones I got for the girls.
As we get ready to take our annual family vacation I thought I would share with you my travel essentials. From comfy leggings, to comfy outfits for baby. Don’t forget extra outfits for baby. I also love to introduce new toys on the plane. They seem to be so much more fun for Greyson if she hasn’t seen them before. Also don’t forget snacks for you and baby.
Clinging to that last feeling of summer with this post. Love love loving this house for rent in Bridgehampton. Perfect for families with kids. This outfit with that bell sleeve sweater is weekend away perfection. Pretty in love with these sandals as well. And this weekend bag, at $39, is the such a steal!
I have this fantasy of visiting the amazing Paws Up Resort in Montana. Think of it like uber-luxurious glamping. Fabulous food, brass soaking tubs, and the most gorgeous scenery you can imagine. I am also slightly obsessed with this sweater and boots combo. Not to mention the most amazing stack rings that are only $68!!
Today’s Wish I was post takes us to over water villas in the Maldives. I have always wanted to visit the maldives. The idea of waking up to the perfect turquoise ocean just steps away from my bed is just too perfect. Sipping on a refreshing guava, pineapple coconut cocktail with this view just makes it that much more perfect don’t you think? And this outfit…to die for! A luxurious beach cover up with an oh so fabulous bikini and rose gold ray ban aviators…yes please.
