Paris by the Beach Wedding Shoot

When the images from a recent shoot we collaborated on, showed up in our inbox we were beyond in love. I mean the details on this shoot are unreal! From the custom made structures, to the gorgeous chandeliers, and don’t get me started on that veil!! We had so much fun creating the invitations for this shoot, taking inspirations from french chateau meets glamour by the beach. So beyond fun with wax seal details and hand dyed silk ribbons, our favorites!! Not to mention the custom mini cakes with calligraphed flags to double as place cards!! yes and yes! Check out all the details over on Love Luxe Life, and the full list of dream team vendors below.

Happy Friday my friends! This weeks inspiration t0-go image is from our trip to Cape Cod last week. We picked up a basket of just picked blueberries from a small stand on the side of the road and enjoyed them together in the sun on the warm sand…perfection!!FRIDAYFUN10

Custom Invitations Revealed

Remember that fabulously gorgeous wedding yesterday? Shot by Erin Hearts Court? Well here a few pictures I took of some of the paper goodies we created for the stylish couple.

The save the dates included one of their gorgeous engagement photos. The overall concept was inspired by a piece of fabric the bride brought to me. This fabric was used throughout the wedding, so it was the perfect way to tie everything together.

The invitations arrived in a custom printed envelope with matching stamps! The invitation itself sat inside a ribbon adorned cobalt blue pocket. I really adored working on this project and it was so fun to see the wedding come to life. Did you guys see the cake? It matches so perfectly!! Hope you enjoy!

Get Crafty – DIY supplies

Ok let me start off with a confession, I do not know how to sew, crochet or knit. That being said these have long been on my list of things I must learn! For all you crafters and brave DIY-ers here is my wish list of craft supplies I really am dying to have right now…

For all my finished pieces, wouldn’t they just look prettier wrapped in one of these fabulous colored twines from the Twinery?? I also am a little obsessed with this cotton tape. So perfect. I have visions of labeling jars of homemade sauces and simple syrups and giving them out as favors…you with me? Now of course I will need a sewing machine. I don’t know tons about these, anyone have a better suggestion? And seriously have you ever seen prettier tape?

This book from the infamous Purl Bee is packed with the cutest projects I have ever seen! I so want to be that person that makes these things!! I REALLY want a yudu. I have visions of screen printing tiny sachets filled with fresh herb mixes, or tiny t-shirts for Piper. And lastly this cotton ribbon available at Urbanic Paper Boutique to wrap some more projects. If you are thinking of making your own favors or bridesmaid gifts hopefully this list of craft supplies inspires you. Let me know what you guys create!

Hot off the Press

Here are some of the latest things that are leaving the studio…

This was a fun invite we did with the fabulous Black Ink in Pacific Palisades. The client chose the Ashley invitation from our Luxe album but chose a different flower for a more custom feel.

Here is an engagement party invitation we did for a client using the Enchanted Garden suite from our Soiree album. Loving it in these colors (sea + chocolate)

Here are some business cards we did for a client with our amazing retailer Sugar Press. This was a fun project, we designed a logo for a salon and then letterpress printed the business cards using charcoal ink + blind printing (no ink). Love the clean, classic feel of these!
