The Elegant Whimsy collection is one of my favorites from our new Studio line. But this version we did recently for the fabulous Epitome Papers in Minnesota just takes the cake. The bright pops of color in this fabulous color palette makes this invitation so fun and memorable…don’t you think?
The Studio line is a great solution for the bride that is in a time crunch or has a strict budget. All the items are digitally printed on recycled papers and the envelopes are 100% cotton. Eco and price conscious!
Remember that fabulously gorgeous wedding yesterday? Shot by Erin Hearts Court? Well here a few pictures I took of some of the paper goodies we created for the stylish couple.
The save the dates included one of their gorgeous engagement photos. The overall concept was inspired by a piece of fabric the bride brought to me. This fabric was used throughout the wedding, so it was the perfect way to tie everything together.
The invitations arrived in a custom printed envelope with matching stamps! The invitation itself sat inside a ribbon adorned cobalt blue pocket. I really adored working on this project and it was so fun to see the wedding come to life. Did you guys see the cake? It matches so perfectly!! Hope you enjoy!
I am so excited to share this wedding with you today. We had the pleasure of working with Jacqui and Amir on their fabulous paper items and I always get so excited to see how the wedding turns out. They had fabulous Erin Hearts Court photograph the event, and the pictures do not disappoint!
I love all the personal touches like the grooms superhero cufflinks, and argyle socks.
I love the bridesmaid dresses! And the cake completely matches the invitations, wait until you see!!
The florals were stunning, as was the bride. Can you even handle that dress!? Sigh.
I love how the candy bar turned out. You can see the escort cards we did above. But wait until you see the invitations we did…revealed tomorrow! Stay tuned! Thanks Courtney for letting me share your gorgeous photos! You can also see more of this wedding on Style Me Pretty.
Now I must start by saying Scarlett Johansson’s dress wasn’t necessarily my favorite red carpet dress BUT it does make a really pretty invitation don’t you think?
Gorgeous vintage umbrella via Bella Umbrella; fabulous ring via etsy; and this to die for dessert table via Style Me Pretty photo by Jasmine Star. Can you picture the wedding with me? All this day dreaming inspired by a dress!
I had the pleasure of throwing my dear friend a baby shower this past weekend (remember this bride!?). We had so much fun and I attempted quite a few DIY projects so I thought I would share the results.
I made tissue paper pom poms in various sizes and shades of purple. I absolutely LOVED the results and would definitely make these again. They were so easy and really added a fun element to the party. The glitter “Baby Girl” garland you may spy in the back, seemed a lot more headache than it was worth. But it was very cute. I used this DIY project as a guide via Lovely Indeed.
My favorite part of the shower was the craft bar. In lieu of shower games I had a craft bar. Each guest was invited to design their very own art board. I provided decorative papers and templates and the results were very beautiful. Since most of the guests were either moms or moms-to-be these were the perfect decoration for a nursery or child’s room.
I kept the food simple and it was actually a HUGE hit. I served 3 different types of tea sandwiches, similar to the ones I served at my Alice in Wonderland tea party. I also made a lamb cous cous salad and an asian cabbage salad with shitake mushrooms.
To finish it off I made a milk and cookies bar. Casey, the guest of honor, really wanted a milk and cookies bar at her wedding but it didn’t ever happen, so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to give her one.
There was fresh milk from old school glass bottles, drink flags that read “milk does a body good”, and a variety of fabulous home made cookies. Of course it helps that my dear friend is a recent culinary school grad and an aspiring pasty chef!! Hope you guys enjoy this inspiration, I really enjoyed getting crafty and creating a fun and creative party. I definitely would recommend doing some sort of craft as opposed to a game. The guests really enjoyed themselves!
I thought I would share a few images of the wedding we attended a few weekends ago in Key West. Every detail was a perfect reflection of the couple, and I just love when this happens! It makes everything so meaningful and fun.
I loved the little touches like the monogrammed sleeves on the groomsmen on their color appropriate purple shirts.
You saw the invitations and paper goodies we created for the couple, but here is the programs and the CD design. Music is very important to the couple so a wedding mix was the perfect favor! They were a huge hit with the guests!
The escort cards were clipped on by DIY clothespins covered with vintage postcards. Along with the escort cards each couple received a hand written note by the bride and groom, which I thought was such a nice touch.
Other fun touches included food stations like a mac and cheese bar, fish taco station and a milk and cookies bar! The location of this wedding, Southernmost House, Key West, really added to the charm of the wedding. It was a fabulous location!
So I thought I would share some images of the invites and paper delights we created for the wedding I am attending this weekend in Florida!
Music is very important to the couple so we created letterpress save the dates that arrived in kraft colored CD jackets!
I really love the way Christiana’s shower invitations turned out. The future Mrs. was such a fun concept to run with! Stay tuned for more paper lovelies from this wedding tomorrow.
We were so thrilled to be featured on Martha Stewart’s Brides Guide, as well as the fabulous Oh So Beautiful Paper. They both showcased some never before seen invitations, so I thought I would share a peek with you here.
Check out the full post here. Thanks so much for including us!!
Nole over at Oh So Beautiful Paper did two posts on this wedding we recently did. There were everything from invites, to shower invitations, to rehearsal dinner invites, all hand letterpress printed! Check out the posts here and here.
I absolutely adore how this custom moving announcement turned out. We worked with our fabulous retailer The Write Invite in Dallas Texas and based the design on our Youthful Sophisticate Soirée design. We hand letterpressed the design and added a colored backer for some extra depth. LOVE!
Hope you enjoyed seeing whats leaving our studio today! xoxo
