Emily brought me back the prettiest chocolate ever by Dick Taylor, from her trip to San Francisco. I mean this packaging is letterpress, each flavor profile a different color, the chocolate bar has the prettiest design, no detail was forgotten. I am smitten. Plus the chocolate was unbelievable. Check out their gorgeous packaging.

While we were in Vancouver we had the pleasure of visiting The Urban Tea Merchant and experiencing TWG tea. Think couture for tea. The tea is exquisite and the packaging is beyond!! I just wanted to share a little peek at the packaging but seeing it in person is even better. My favorite tea is their Vanilla Bourbon. It’s a red tea so it’s naturally caffeine free and the taste is so amazing.

It’s the design nerd in me, what can I say. I get giddy when I see beautiful packaging, or in this case when I go to a restaurant, Driftwood Kitchen, with beautiful branding. I found myself snapping pics of the menus, business cards, you name it. I know I know, but I just couldn’t help myself. Here are a few of those pics.
Beyond excited to share this branding project with you guys. We had the extreme pleasure of working with the very talented Kamee June on her branding. We created everything from her logo to additional logo marks and patterns, as well as a fabulous new website & blog. It’s always such a great feeling to see the completed products of our branding clients. We work so closely with them that it’s such a fun journey. So excited for you Kamee!!
I find myself designing wedding welcome bags all the time, so I thought why not do the same for our family vacation. Here is a little peek in to the welcome bags I made.
The backpacks were absolutely perfect for our week of exploring the island, and different beaches. We scored these at Urban Outfitters and then I had them screen printed with the logo, and hung personalized hangtags on each.
Everyone received screen printed t-shirts, a field guide complete with restaurants, beaches, and a scavenger hunt, as well as Hurraw organic lip balm, and Honest Company goodies.
This idea can definitely be simplified and applied to your own family vacation. Grab inexpensive totes and fill them with destination appropriate goodies. It’s really such a fun way to get everyone excited about the trip!
I will be back on Wednesday with all new posts, but in the meantime here is a little sneak peek at the branding I created for our vacation. Yes I branded our vacation! We celebrated my brother’s birthday, as well as our annual family vacation in St Barths. I created welcome bags, tags, and field guides, t-shirts and other goodies for each person. Below is a little sneak peek at the graphics I created. Stay tuned for more photos of the real deal.
Here are a few patterns I am playing around with for some new products…stay tuned. What do you guys think?
This quote is such the perfect reminder for me right now. Hope it will inspire you today!
