Today’s inspiration to-go image is a snapshot of a custom invite we are working on right now. I just love the fun textural qualities of the different materials. A seagrass backer, a wax seal, Japanese rice paper and wax twine. And don’t forget the hand torn paper with a deep letterpress impression…Sigh…
I absolutely loved this wedding we worked on with Intertwined Events. The mix of floral and gold foil with a vintage monogram was so fun. Here is a peek at some of the things we did for the wedding. Check out the full post on Junebug Weddings!!
I am beyond excited to share the wedding of one of our sweet couple’s Aimee and Bryan. We worked with the amazing Heather of LVL Events and the results were so much fun! We designed down to the smallest detail, cocktail napkins, stir sticks, signage!

Happy Friday my friends! For today’s friday fun, the inspiration to-go photo is actually a picture of my wallet. I am loving this texture for a custom bride of mine. How great would that be on an invite? The pin of the week is this brilliant idea of packing a salad in a jar in layers for lunch at work. Since we all pack our lunches and eat together at the studio each day, we were all pretty excited about this one. And lastly I have mastered the soaked oats, I now want to try my hand at soaked GRoats…anyone try these yet? Very excited about it. Have a great weekend!!
We were so honored to work with Details Details and Jessica Alba’s Honest Company on this very special event. A baby shower for some well deserving military moms and moms-to-be. We created everything from invites, to menus to overall branding for the event. Here is a peek at the design board as well as a few pics from the event. Hop over to our newly updated eye candy gallery for lots more details of this fabulous event and all the amazing people involved.
The perfect blend of vintage and romance, this box invite was all about presentation. We created a custom monogram for the couple which was then printed on a vellum overlay.
The invites had a pocket on the reverse to house the extra pieces. Everything arrived in hand calligraphed boxes!! The natural color palette added a hint of rustic elegance.
These invitations are the perfect example of chic elegance with a twist. The playful lettering and chic monogram, contrasted with the classic color palette, double thick paper and striking edge painting…perfection!
I had such a fun time designing this invitation suite for a fabulous couple getting married in Ojai. We designed a tri-fold invitation complete with itinerary, map and an rsvp postcard.
I just love this custom invitation we created for Jeni of the amazing Sugar Press. Her son’s first birthday was a circus inspired theme, so we ran wild with the colors, fonts & graphics on the invites & paper goods.
Creating custom patterns is one of my favorite things to do! Here are a few I am working on for a client. What do you guys think? Do you have a favorite?
