Happy Friday friends! Self care is so important especially with everything we all have going on these days. Here is my Friday Fun centered around self care. My latest obsession is the podcast How I Built This, interviewing the coolest entrepreneurs ever. Self care for each of us can look very different. For me it’s about putting on some luxurious pj’s, grabbing a book, a superfood latte spiked with Sun Potion, and cozying up with a giant blanket. So whatever it looks like to you, don’t forget to carve out a little time this weekend for yourself my lovelies!
I am so very proud to have worked on the rebranding for Hollye Jacobs and her site The Silver Pen. Her site provides an “everyday source of inspiration and information. It is an honest guide to navigating the realities of cancer with a focus on health, balance, humor and above all, Silver Linings.” We live in a time where we are all touched by cancer whether it’s a friend, family member or our own struggles, her site provides a safe haven and an invaluable resource.
You know when you have those people you just instantly click with, and you get each other? Well Hollye is one of those people. We had a blast coming up with her logo and branding. We designed business cards, book marks, letterpress stationery and even quotes for the website. Then I had the pleasure of designing her new website!

are you madly in love yet?….here is some more eye candy.
Here are some things I am day dreaming about lately…
This adorable vintage childrens book I found on etsy; how adorable is this papaya and lemon painted house!? via desire to inspire; and this may be my all time favorite setting for a wedding, the Hoffman House! I am absolutely in love with the homey vibe that it has, not to mention this absolutely stunning wedding I spotted on SMP shot by Anne Marie photography.
I adore this workspace I found on Rachel Whiting‘s site. It’s like an inspiration board turned workspace! So many pieces of inspiration waiting to be discovered; then there is this lovely photo shot by the very talented Sharnel Dollar of My Life My Loves. It’s inspiration for a little girls birthday party! Can’t wait to see that party! And lastly I seriously still cannot get over these secret fairy doors. If this baby is a girl I can tell you right now this is a MUST HAVE! They are customizable and they each come with a tiny key and fairy dust! Ok so cute! The pink door photo is by Sharnel Dollar as well.
These circus images I spotted over at Twig and Thistle by Rosanna Anson are so inspiring. They make me want to be a kid again! The whimsy and colors of the photos are just stunning!
And these Wizard of Oz book jacket designs by Jessica Hische’s students are so fabulous! I was a huge Wizard of Oz fan growing up and these book designs just took me back. If you click to her blog you can check out some of the students portfolios as well…a very talented bunch!
