Friday Fun {Self Care}

0comments

Happy Friday friends! Self care is so important especially with everything we all have going on these days. Here is my Friday Fun centered around self care. My latest obsession is the podcast How I Built This, interviewing the coolest entrepreneurs ever. Self care for each of us can look very different. For me it’s about putting on some luxurious pj’s, grabbing a book, a superfood latte spiked with Sun Potion, and cozying up with a giant blanket. So whatever it looks like to you, don’t forget to carve out a little time this weekend for yourself my lovelies!

Happy Friday Friends! Today’s inspiration to-go is a fabulous blanket I spotted while we were visiting Lake Placid a few weeks back. Also the pin of the week happens to be my dream come true. You really must check out the full post on Camille styles of this fabulous 40th birthday party. Think glamping with “room service” and personalized pillow cases!! Sigh….

As promised here are some more picnic inspired ideas…

I absolutely adore this “Love Shoot” that was styled and by adorable Jen of Green Wedding Shoes. Oh and the couple happens to be Jen and her husband, as they celebrate one year of marriage! Congratulations Jen. It’s such a fun thing to have these stylized shoots even if you are already married and Jen shows just how to do that. The gorgeous photos are shot by Caroline Tran.

Lastly, this one may just take the cake…a picnic proposal!? Seriously! I can’t get enough of it. To top it off it was styled by the amazingly talented Jesi Haack! I just love the surprise, of it all and how perfectly Aaron Shintaku captures it all. All of this picnic talk is making me crave spring time now! Let me know how you guys might use picnics in your weddings, events etc. What about a picnic bridal shower? Love this idea!

Relax…Breathe…

Running a business and now being pregnant, I find myself making a conscious effort lately of trying to relax and breathe. When things get hectic I try and focus on things that make me happy and relaxed. Here is a little collection of photos that evoke peace and calmness over me. Hopefully they will bring a little bit of calm to your day!

Yoga is a great way to bring peace to your life. I have been enjoying prenatal yoga myself lately. These yoga pics are by France Ruffenach Photography. Batter, frosting, cookie dough, all things that make me happy. Photo also by France Ruffenach Photography. I love this shot of soft cozy blankets in soft neutral tones. This gorgeous water front, open air interior looks heavenly. Photo by Jason Loucas Photography. These pretty pale pink flowers remind me of laying down in a garden somewhere, gazing at the sky. Lovely!
