Mom Monday {Quick Food Tip 103}

Here is another quick tip on how to get your kids to eat what you want them to eat. Tip #103, make it a “Build Your Own Bowl” style. The cool thing about this is that you can do this which just about anything. Build your own southwestern rice bowls, build your own Asian noodle bowls, sweet potato bowls, the possibilities are endless. I think part of what makes this work is that it gives your kids the power to choose what they are eating so be sure that the options are full of things you want them to eat. This has been working so great with Piper, so we make just about everything like this. If not a bowl, at least we offer some toppings to whatever we are eating, so she can choose her own toppings. Works like a charm.
