Greenology Event

This past weekend the hubby and I went to the Greenology event at The Camp in Costa Mesa (the coolest shopping center EVER in my opinion). There were a ton of really great Eco-Conscious vendors, and amazing live music. It was a great event.

One of my favorite vendors was Tyler Bender Book Co.. Tyler builds notebooks from vintage books and other salvaged materials. I love that they are all one of a kind and I adore the upcycling! Brilliant! Check out Tyler’s etsy shop for some of his fabulous creations. The live music was the absolutely amazing Pawn Shop Kings, brothers who have really created their own style of music I think. It’s American South with equal parts rock, gospel, country and pop. Brilliant and if you haven’t heard them yet I promise it’s a must!!! Check out their story and music here. (a fun tidbit Joel of the Pawn Shop Kings, is Emily’s husband!)

Now one of my favorite parts of going to the Camp is exploring the unique stores they have there and I have officially found my favorite new store! It’s called Seed People’s Market which focuses on selling “products with a purpose” in the coolest environment ever! From the top some of the artists I have captured are: floral wraps by Beverly from The Flower Stand @ Seed; super cool bags from Benjamin Trading Company; ok these are super cool, they are called Woolly Pockets aka living walls invented by the creator of the infamous Marvimon and  Smog Shoppe in LA! I so need these in my house! Who wouldn’t want a Living Wall!!? Those super cool vintagey baseball hats are by Local Evocal artist. LOVE! And these fabulous glass drinking bottles are meant to promote health and good energy, with words like Abundance and Joy etched on them! By Visionary Boutique!

From the top, a super cool vintage letter! Love! Fun paper straws from Kikkerland. The shop offers free internet and the coolest place to lounge, with a super cool indoor/outdoor vibe. Gorgeous feather headbands by local artist Briana Reye. Those are on my official wish list! Gorgeous! I am dying to head on up to the Idea Farm for one of the fabulous crafty classes they offer. Check out the schedule here. Yes I am officially in love with Seed People’s Market. Brilliance!!
