My Labor Day Weekend
Hope you all enjoyed your long weekend. After an emotionally trying week, I was very grateful to spend time with my family. We ended up doing quite a bit, so I thought I would share a few images from the weekend’s adventures.

The hubby and I managed to sneak out for a date night one night. From sunset cocktails, to fabulous mexican food, Laguna Beach trolley rides and fabulous gelato, the night was a success. All the stars seemed to align for us. Even though each place we went to was over crowded, and not a seat available, a kind person, or couple offered us a seat at each stop! It was magical for sure.

I somehow convinced my husband to go with me to the Flea Market (not his favorite stop truth be told). But he was a trooper, and there were a ton of treasures to be found.

From vintage Parisian letters, to old bottles, and gorgeous chandeliers, I was in heaven!

We literally had the most sublime pizza of all time from TJ’s Woodfire Pizza truck. It had burrata, Italian sausage & fennel pollen, and I swear it was the most delicious crust I have ever had, from a truck! Imagine that!? We sipped icey cold coconuts from the Fruit Shop too. Yum!

We finally took Piper to the Aquarium and it was such a fun time. Watching her get so excited with all the fish, sea lions, everything, was really fun.
What did you guys do for the long weekend!?

Where is that lovely flea market? I live in SoCal and would love to check it out.
Hello Leticia. It was at Irvine Great Park. They have it the first Sunday of every month. All the food trucks were there too, along with the most amazing Farmers Market. Definitely work a visit! Let me know if you go! http://www.ocgp.org/2011/10/the-groves-antique-market/
