Mom Monday {holiday traditions}

I have always loved having family traditions, but now that I am a mom I really feel the need to embrace these traditions so that Piper can enjoy them when she is older. Here are a few of my favorites that our family does. Do you have a unique or fun family tradition for the holidays? Comment below, I will be sharing my favorites…

{1}We have the fun tradition of opening one gift on Christmas Eve. I always give everyone cozy pajamas (usually from old navy like the ones above that are only $8!!). Then in the morning when we are all opening our presents we are all wearing our matching funny pajamas! {2} We spend Christmas in Park City, Utah, so Fondue is the perfect meal. We have a big fondue dinner for Christmas Eve.  {3} on Christmas morning while opening presents we have champagne or sparkling cider for the little ones. It really gives it a festive mood.  {4} there is always a sledding competition followed by steaming mugs of hot chocolate  {5} there are ornaments exchanged that help us remember the year.  I hope this inspires you to carry out your own traditions. And don’t forget to leave your traditions in a comment below!
