I dream of ice cream…
I am noticing a sprouting of new artisanal ice cream shoppes popping up and I am definitely loving it. It seems they are the new cupcake boutique. Here are a few of my favorites I am dying to try…
First up…Sweet Republic in Scottsdale Arizona. I just adore the use of unusual ingredients and the dedication these shoppes make to using fresh local ingredients. Check out the roquefort blue cheese and date flavor!! I am just dying to try this….
Bi-Rite Creamery in San Francisco. Some of their unusual flavors include honey lavender and balsamic strawberry. Last but not least is Jenis in Ohio…there is such a large list of unusual flavors I may be dreaming of these tonight! I mean beer ice cream…that HAS to be good right? I can see these gourmet flavors being served in tiny portions at a chic modern wedding reception in tiny bite size cones and little flags that explain their flavors! How perfect!
