Brilliant Book of Inspirational Ephemera

I came across this post the other day on the brilliant Eric Kass’s blog and I was instantly grateful. You see I have this very beautiful habit (annoying to some) of keeping little pieces of paper, business cards, clothing tags, menus, random bits of paper, labels etc. I have never really known what to do with all of it besides stick it up on my inspiration board (or let it pile up somewhere near my desk). However if you have seen my inspiration board  (or my desk for that matter) lately you can see its kind of busting at the seems. What Eric does is stick them in books similar to what I have done with my old magazines. Brilliant!! I am so excited about this I think I might just go home and start this project immediately!

  1. i suffer from the same issue and think this is a great idea. Although I think we are quite lucky to find beauty in our regular little pieces of daily life.

  2. awesome! I might have to do that too- I collect these kinds of things as well!

  3. I do this too! I plan to start a scrapbook of these someday, when I have the time…
