Creative Genius

ted

A close friend of mine has a knack for sending me the most inspirational messages or in this case videos, at the most opportune times. Being that Emily and I are knee deep in design launches and stationery show tasks, this couldn’t have come at a better time. This is a video of Elizabeth Gilbert, author of the amazing book Eat Pray Love, at a TED Talk. For those of you unfamiliar with TED its an annual conference that brings together the world’s most fascinating thinkers and doers, who are challenged to give the talk of their lives (in 18 minutes)! This talk is a must watch. It’s 20 minutes but the time is worth it. Let me know what you guys think!

  1. Very inspiring!!! Sometimes as creatives we get stuck, if we could just learn to show up and do what we do..the rest will come. I believe that.

  2. I’m actually right in the middle of reading her book! So inspiring, and such a great perspective.

  3. i love this! thanks so much for posting. it can be hard when you feel like things aren’t “flowing”…good to keep in mind that showing up is half the battle.
